Every child deserves a chance to succeed
The purpose of Kalamazoo Lend a Hand is to promote the well-being of needy children
in Kalamazoo County and southwest Michigan by providing assistance and services that make a difference in their lives, allow
them to achieve success as individuals, and help them be responsible citizens of their community. To achieve these goals,
Kalamazoo Lend a Hand will provide economically disadvantaged students with items of personal and educational need, such as
personal care products, winter gear, and school backpacks with supplies at no charge to students who are eligible for free
or reduced-price lunch under federal income guidelines.
